A group of military veterans and DSHS volunteers have gotten together to bring a holiday toy drive to all interested state offices in Thurston County. They will be providing donation boxes for all offices that register, which will be delivered over the coming weeks.
The promotion will run from November 9 - December 11 and will also have payroll donation component. You will be able to give funds on behalf of your favorite branch of the military.

Three devastating wildfires--the Camp, Woolsey, and Hill fires--are burning out of control in California. Firefighters are working around the clock to control the blazes and keep them from spreading into even more communities. More than 250,000 across the state have been forced to flee their homes.
The CFD has put together a list of charities that have reported that they are on the ground working to bring relief to those in need during this tragic time.
The CFD is making our big game about more than just competition. From now until the big game, donors and fans can come together in support of our schools and give to either school foundation through the Apple Cup Challenge.
Half of every dollar you give goes to the college foundation of your choice, with the other half benefitting the CFD. The more you give, the more your favorite school gets!
