Spokane Wine Night

It is time for you to put down those masks and raise those glasses as the CFD presents the first-ever Wine Night, scheduled for the evening of March 25 at Nectar Winery in Spokane.

The elegant evening starts at 7 PM and will be filled with a wonderful sit down buffet dinner, wines from the hosting vineyard, a live and silent auction and much more entertainment.

As the CFD prepares for the 2017 Annual Giving Campaign, the program is looking for Campaign Leaders from all state agencies and higher education institutions. These volunteers will spearhead the campaign efforts for your agency.

2017 Well Fed, Well Read

It is that time once again!!!

From April 3-15, multiple agencies will be getting together in the Thurston County area for an annual book and food drive for kids. The event is run by the Thurston County Food Bank and South Sound Reading Foundation and brings in thousands of books and pounds of food for those in need.

DFW sets up special Memorial Fund

Brian Abbott passed away on New Year's Eve at 48 years old after battling a lifelong heart condition. Brian was integral in leading the Salmon Recovery Office.

In response to his passing, his teammates at the Department of Fish and Wildlife have set up a special campaign in his name. Donations to support his Salmon Legacy will go to the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group.
