The Combined Fund Drive would not be possible without its volunteers and our community business partners. Below is a list of Washington State organizations that have helped make the CFD what it is today and kept our costs low, ensuring that more money goes to help our community.
TwinStar Credit Union has been an incredible partner for the Combined Fund Drive over the years. As the sole sponsor for the Annual Leadership Breakfast, we are able to kick-off the year in giving to inspire leaders, volunteers and charities across our state thanks to their contribution of $10,000. In 2014, TwinStar helped enable us to raise over $11,000 in one day for CFD 30th Birthday which featured the Lombardi Trophy.
WSECU continues to grow our partnership by working hand-in-hand with the CFD with the wildly successful First Week to Give promotion held the first week in October. WSECU has been providing more than $7,000 worth of Starbucks Gift Cards and in 2018 has push it to $10,000! Thanks to them, we raised more than $49,000 in 2018 alone for this promotion.
First Week to Give is a way donors who chose to give $5 or more through their paychecks during the first week of the campaign will receive a Starbucks Gift Card.
For more than four years, Meconi's Italian Subs has been generously donating sandwiches for each of the Campaign Leader Trainings conducted in Thurston County. This gesture equates to close to $2,000 in savings each year for the CFD and we greatly appreciate it!
The owner of Meconi's, Maria Meconi, also has helped us promote the First to Week Give through a fun promotion video with her other company, Drip Espresso.
The Seattle Seahawks support change in their community through numerous different initiatives, including support for the Combined Fund Drive. The team worked to help the CFD acquire season tickets for fundraising events, provided incredible speakers for the annual leadership breakfast, and event sent the Lombardi Trophy to the Capitol for the CFD's 30th Birthday Party. We are proud to partner with the Seattle Seahawks and appreciate their support.
