CFD Recognition EventsMay 30, 2014
As the CFD's annual giving campaign enters its final month, the program invites our volunteers, leaders, donors and even our charities to take the time and nominate state employees that have gone above and beyond for the CFD.
Awards will be given to Campaign Leaders, Local Coordinators and Executive Leadership at the statewide. Thurston County and King County will also be awarding employees who ran strong local campaigns and all volunteers are welcome to nominate their favorites for any category.

Ebola Relief CampaignOctober 22, 2014
As the world comes together to help end the outbreak of Ebola virus in West Africa, the Combined Fund Drive is doing its part.
From now until the end of the 2014 Annual Giving Campaign (December 31), state and higher education employees are invited to give through their paychecks to any of the charities that have been identified as being in the regions most affected by this debilitating virus.

DSHS Secretary makes sure "Everybody Eats"October 22, 2014
In one of the most ambitious undertakings the CFD has ever been a part of, the Secretary of DSHS has begun touring facilities and offices around the state with the sole purpose of promoting hunger relief.
Kevin Quigley has already visited more than 15 different offices in Yakima, Kennewick and Spokane and will continue his tour through November. The tour has already raised participation in DSHS and brought in thousands of pounds of donated items for food banks around the state.

The Office of the Secretary of State Charities Division has created a webpage for all donors, whether they give through the CFD or not, that provides unique tools that will help you plan your giving in a smart and effective way. The webpage will provide you with documents and brochures about what to look for when you decide to give to charity.

CFD rolls out the 2014 Campaign TrackerMay 30, 2014
As the 2014 annual giving campaign rolls on, our volunteers and donors are invited to see how their agencies are doing with our 2014 Campaign Tracker.
This special tool tracks participation percentages and total dollar amounts logged by donors at the agency and county levels, and even tracks volunteer hours by agency made through the CFD's Volunteer Tracker. This page will be updated on a weekly basis until final numbers are revealed on January 10.
