Thurston County CFD Recognition Event

The Thurston County CFD Steering Committee and the CFD state office invite you to come and be a part of the Thurston County CFD Recognition with free food, wine and beer, and awards.

Winners for these awards will be announced at the Thurston County CFD Recognition Event, scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5:30pm - 8pm at the Lacey Community Center.

Spokane County holds Volunteer Recognition Luncheon
March 2, 2015

The Spokane County CFD Committee celebrated volunteers at a luncheon on February 25 at the Lincoln Center in downtown Spokane. Guests were treated to a free lunch, door prizes and awards.

A group of charities were present to thank the volunteers personally for their efforts during the 2014 Annual Giving Campaign.

King County holds Swashbuckling Awards Event
March 2, 2015

To celebrate the amazing King County CFD volunteers, the King County CFD Steering Committee organized a Pirate themed recognition event at the Yacht Club at Lake Union on February 10, 2015. King County Committee resident pirate, Shark Byte LePirate (Curtis Bronson, Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program), lead the program and grub, grog, awards and fun were had by all.

2015 State Employees Day with the Mariners
February 24, 2015

The Seattle Mariners invite state employees to celebrate a new season with the team by offering its annual State Employees Day. The CFD has partnered with the Mariners to continue to provide our state's great employees with this special day.

This year's game is scheduled for Saturday, May 9 against the Oakland Athletics in Safeco Field.

CFD Releases its 2014 Annual Campaign Report
February 23, 2015

For the first time in more than five years, last year's Annual Giving Campaign realized an improvement in both dollars pledged and percentage of participation.

Because of our volunteers and donors, the program raised more than $5.2 million in pledges and brought in more than 800 new donors.
