Whatcom County Volunteers celebrate a banner year

The Whatcom County CFD committee came together February 21st the Bellingham Technical College to celebrate an incredible year of giving and to honor top agencies and volunteers in the county.

Agencies and higher education institution volunteers worked tirelessly during the 2012 annual campaign, bringing in the highest total of donation dollars from Whatcom County since the beginning of the CFD, and this was the event that helped honor those achievements.

The state CFD office made a special presentation thanking Whatcom County personnel for all of their hard work during the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Campaign, and also presented the Ross Bunnell Local Coordinator of the Year Award to Peg Power and Candace Bingham.
