Statewide Award Categories

The Combined Fund Drive holds nominations for volunteers around the state. To nominate anyone in the Thurston County area for a statewide award, simply click the category below and submit your nomination. 

  • Executive Leadership Award

    This award will be given to an Executive Sponsor who, in their management capacity, demonstrated exemplary leadership, while promoting the Combined Fund Drive along with their organization's mission.

  • Local Coordinator of the Year Award

    Ross Bunnell was an extraordinary volunteer with the Attorney General's Office. He displayed incredible energy during each campaign he was associated with. The Local Coordinator of the Year Award is dedicated in his memory and is given to the volunteer that shows great enthusiasm during his/her campaign.

  • Campaign Leader of the Year Award

    The Campaign Leader of the Year Award is handed out to the Campaign Leaders who demonstrate leadership and creativity while running their agency's campaign. Local Coordinators and agency leadership are encouraged to nominate their co-workers.

Thurston County

The Thurston County CFD Steering Committee will be holding its annual recognition event in March, and are holding special local award categories for volunteers to choose from. To nominate anyone in the Thurston County area for an award, simply click the category below and submit your nomination.

  • Rookie of the Year

    This award is given to a volunteer who, in their first year of CFD service, helped make their agency's campaign a success.

  • Sustained Excellence

    This award is given to a volunteer who has demonstrated outstanding CFD volunteerism for five years or more.

  • Volunteer Award

    This award recognizes a state employee or retiree who rolled up his or her sleeves and spent his or her personal time volunteering for a CFD campaign or CFD member charity, promoting a culture of giving in their community.

  • Outstanding Service and Commitment Award

    This award recognizes a Local Coordinator and his/her team of CFD volunteers for an event, fundraiser, or campaign that educated and inspired employees to give through the CFD.
