Campaign Leader TrainingDecember 24, 2012
The CFD is excited to invite its agency lead volunteers to our annual Campaign Leader Training events, scheduled for the first and second weeks in June.
The state office is here to help you cultivate your agency's campaign, and the Campaign Leader trainings are a great way to receive the tools you need to succeed.
Trainings will be held in both Thurston and King Counties and will tackle CFD basics, finance rules and regulations, managing your online profile and ways to market your campaign effectively.
For more information on times for new and veteran Campaign Leaders, feel free to click on our Training RSVP webpage.
Still looking to help in Texas?December 19, 2012
While the events in Boston have shown the true generosity and compassion of our citizens in the face of unthinkable tragedy, the recent explosion at a plant in West, Texas has gone largely underpublicized. The fallout from this horrific event will affect the lives of those living in the Waco area for years to come, and the CFD would like to help.

CFD rolls out a new policy for minimum donation amountsJanuary 4, 2013
In order to better serve its member charities, the Combined Fund Drive state office has issued a new policy requiring that all payroll contributions be at least $1 per paycheck per charity.
This new policy will help make reconciliation and disbursement easier for the state CFD office, and will maximize the amount of money going to specific charities (due to the amount of time and resources charities have to spend on each donation, many contributions under $1 per paycheck actually cost charities money).
