2014 CFD Ride and CruizeJune 5, 2014
Each year, our Thurston County Committee supports our local charities by hosting a Motorcycle Ride. All proceeds from the ride are donated to the CFD and distributed amongst all of the member charities. The ride includes pit stops at local businesses hosted by charities as a means of educating riders about their organizations.
This year, you are invited to cruize the route in your car as well.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 16 starting at 8:00 AM in the parking lot of the Tumwater Costco.

CFD Volunteer TrackerMay 30, 2014
The CFD is now tracking volunteer hours that our state employees log at any of our member charities. At the end of the campaign, special recognition will be given to agencies and individuals who log the most hours.
Last year, state employees logged more than 7,000 through the Volunteer Tracker, saving local charities more than $168,000 in costs. You do not have to give through your paycheck to track your hours.
